Solten is a small multinational organisation which is constantly improving its processes and expanding business into diverse areas. Due to those ongoing changes this role has been created for an accounts assistant reporting directly to the English-speaking Finance Manager. This role would be suitable for somebody who is eager to learn, would appreciate the view into the running of a Finance Department, working day to day with a Qualified Accountant and would like to use the English language daily. The communication is mostly in English hence the proficient level both spoken and written is required; French language is an advantage.

What to expect on a daily basis?
- Verifying supplier invoices and dealing with any queries
- Processing supplier payments and allocating payments against invoices
- Management and control of several bank accounts
- Participation in cash collection process
- Liaising with customers regarding payments and invoice queries
- Monthly accounting tasks (e.g. VAT return, Bank reconciliations, Payroll related tasks)
- Backup
tasks: Preparing and sending customer invoices, allocating sales receipts against
invoices, Involvement in factoring process
- Performing accounting data integrity checks
- Additional accounting/administrative duties as required
What knowledge and skills should you have?
- Sound computer skills (MS Office suite – particularly Excel and Word) and willingness to learn new Odoo software related to Business Management, CRM, Accounting, etc.
- Very good time management, planning and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Professional and confident telephone manner as necessary for dealing with providers and other departments
- Proficiency in English language (min. B2), both spoken and written is required
- Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures would be an advantage, not a must. Training will be provided.
- French language would be an advantage but it is not required

Gross salary of CZK 17,300 (Net approx. CZK 15,300)
